Work Commences and
Payments made directly to

Community Grants

Step 1

Gurranabraher Credit Union will facilitate an event for interested businesses and home owners

Step 2

Energy-Hub will project manage the grants application with all interested home owners. Energy Hub will source approved SEAI contractor for works.

Step 3

Gurranabraher Credit Union will provide funding where necessary for the balance of works through an Energy Union Loan

Who are we?

EnergyUnion brings together 2 Community Based organisations, Gurranabraher Credit Union & Energy-Hub. Gurranabraher Credit Union is the largest Credit Union on the northside of Cork City. Energy-Hub is a community-based organisation helping individuals and groups alike to secure funding for projects that help make their homes more energy efficient.

This scheme will help you to upgrade your home, make it warmer
and more energy efficient and cheaper to heat.

Better Energy Warmer Homes

This nationwide scheme delivers free energy efficiency improvements to
the homes of people who are in receipt of certain welfare payments.

Community Grants

Community Energy Grant

Credit Union Members can submit group applications to make use of increased grant funding options
